Carrera have announced their 2026 new items range. This year brings an exciting mix of detailed 1:32 scale slot cars alongside a wide selection of race sets aimed at both newcomers and experienced racers. The new 1:32 line-up is led by contemporary Formula 1 machinery, including the Ferrari SF-26 of Lewis Hamilton, McLaren’s Lando Norris challenger and the Mercedes-AMG W17 driven by George Russell, as well as the Red Bull Racing RB22 of Max Verstappen. Modern GT racing is also strongly represented with models such as the Ferrari 296 GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, Ford Mustang GT3 and Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II, complemented by classic and touring car favourites including the BMW 635 CSi Jägermeister and Ford Capri RS3100.
Supporting the cars is a new selection of scenic accessories for 1:32 layouts, including a grandstand, pit stop building with VIP floor, advertising arch and packs of unpainted spectators to help bring circuits to life. Carrera also expands its accessible race set range across 1:43 and 1:50 scales, with themed starter sets featuring popular licences such as Mario Kart, Sonic Racing and Disney Stitch, alongside motorsport-inspired packs including McLaren Racing, NASCAR Talladega, DTM Supercars and Ferrari Power Racing. With sets designed for all ages and skill levels, the 2026 range continues Carrera’s focus on combining authentic motorsport models with fun, ready-to-race experiences.
