Dapol’s latest N Scale releases for August and September 2026 are packed with modern traction, colourful liveries and classic coaching stock, giving British N gauge modellers a wide variety of new additions for both freight and passenger layouts. Leading the release schedule is an extensive new run of the ever-popular Class 66 locomotive, covering a broad range of operators and liveries from across the UK rail network.
The Class 66 range includes DB Red, EWS Red/Gold, Freightliner Original, Freightliner Powerhaul, GBRf, DRS and Colas Rail Freight examples, with several named locomotives featured including GBRf’s ‘Nene Valley’, ‘Platinum Jubilee’ and ‘Evening Star’. Each locomotive will be available in standard DC, DCC-Fitted and DCC-Sound versions, offering options for every type of modeller. Alongside the locomotives, Dapol have also announced a new selection of 7 Plank Wagons in commemorative Dapol liveries, including current logo, 2002-2011 logo and Collectors Club editions, all available in pristine and weathered finishes.
September’s releases continue with further freight stock in the form of BR and LMS Bulk Grain Hopper Wagons, again offered in both clean and weathered conditions. Passenger stock is also heavily featured with a large range of Mk3 coaches, including BR Blue/Grey, Virgin Trains and Chiltern Railways examples, alongside specialist Mk3 Test Coaches and a BR Blue/Grey sleeper coach. Together, these latest releases provide an impressive mix of contemporary freight power and iconic passenger rolling stock for N Scale enthusiasts.
