Märklin have announced a new BR110s in a colourful Elefantexpress livery. Also announced is the exciting introduction of the American Outline Shay with DCC Sound.
Elefantexpress BR110 Locomotives
For 50 years, he’s been the mouse’s best friend: the little blue elephant, who tumbles from one amusing adventure to the next on "Sendung mit der Maus" (The Show with the Mouse). Anyone who grew up in Germany over the past half-century will be familiar with this beloved TV star. To celebrate his anniversary, the WDR broadcaster has given him a special gift: his very own locomotive. The 110 469 4, which serves as a replacement for the "Train Rental" TRI, now travels across the country sporting a fun elephant design.
This locomotive is now being made available in both HO and Z Scale (as well as 2 Rail and N Scale under the Trix and Minitrix banners) and is now available to pre-order.

Shay Steam Locomotive

Märklin are pleased to announce that following the introduction of the Shay into the LGB range, it is making a welcome addition to HO under the Märklin banner. The extraordinary technology featured on this locomotive includes an external drive including fully movable gear adjustment makes this locomotive an attraction on every model railway layout. Not only that, the locomotive is fitted with full DCC functions including sound and smoke capabilities.
