PECO has announced that production is now underway for the highly anticipated curved turnouts in its OO scale Bullhead track range, marking another major milestone in the continued expansion of this popular fine-scale system. The Bullhead range has earned widespread praise for its authentic appearance and fine detailing, with each turnout individually hand assembled due to the delicate nature of the prototypical bullhead rail profile and construction. Unlike PECO’s standard flat-bottom track systems, the Bullhead range cannot be produced by traditional insert moulding, resulting in a premium-quality product designed specifically for realistic British layout modelling. The introduction of curved turnouts further enhances the system's flexibility for more complex track plans, whilst PECO has also confirmed that development of the long-awaited Three-Way turnout remains on schedule for a targeted December 2026 release.
