Peco: An Old Favourite Wagon Returns
A much-loved model returns, now enhanced with a host of refinements. This latest version features sharper, more comprehensive printing, with added detail along the solebars and tank ends, and upgraded smooth-running metal wheels. The tank body is finished in silver, paired with red solebars and complemented by striking red and yellow highlights on the Timken roller bearing covers.
Fina, more accurately known as Petrofina, was a Belgian-owned oil company that traded in the UK from 1948 until 2000, when Fina, Total and Elf merged. The prototype wagon was built in 1959 and was one of just four produced in this series, rated at 35 tons GLW. Its bright and authentic livery makes this model an eye-catching addition, bringing a welcome splash of colour to any layout set in the 1960s or 1970s.
