To mark International Firefighters’ Day on 4th May 2026, Piko has unveiled a special-edition HO covered freight wagon that pays tribute to the dedication, professionalism, and vital role of firefighters in communities. More than just a striking addition for collectors, this unique release carries a meaningful message, celebrating those who serve today while supporting those who will follow in their footsteps.
Under the campaign theme, “For all those who are there when it matters and for those who will be there tomorrow,” Piko is also giving back, with €5 from every model sold donated to the German Youth Fire Brigade. This one-time release is expected from late April, making it a timely and meaningful addition to any range.
Alongside this announcement, PIKO has confirmed a design update to the “Sgnns Container Transport Wagon with E-Body, Blue, CH-Wascosa VI”, with revised product details and new CAD imagery. Delivery for this updated model is scheduled for the end of July.
