Alongside this update comes a surprise opportunity for enthusiasts of Highland Railway motive power, with Rapido securing a limited additional production slot for three more Jones Goods locomotives in their popular pre-grouping liveries.
These earlier Highland Railway liveries proved exceptionally popular upon their original release, selling out rapidly and becoming sought-after additions for Scottish layout modellers. The newly available models are expected to pair perfectly with the forthcoming Loch class locomotives and Rapido’s upcoming Highland Railway Evolution coach range, offering enthusiasts the chance to recreate authentic Highland Railway operations with an increasingly comprehensive collection of period rolling stock and motive power. These three models have been upgraded and now include MoPower stay-alives as per the Loch class.
