The mat is produced on a durable, flexible special paper backing which can be used as a full sheet or easily cut into custom shapes for individual scenic sections. Its realistic grey surface provides an instant groundwork for busy railway environments, removing the need for time-consuming ballast application while still achieving a convincing prototype appearance.
