Iron Ore Tippler BR Grey

BR built 8590 unfitted iron ore tipplers. Some of these were converted to vacuum brake later, joining those built new with vacuum brake. As well as Iron ore, they were used for Sand and Chalk. Later some carried ingot moulds and their high capacity meant, during the 1980s that they were popular with civil engineers as spoil carriers.

1:148 Scale model of a Iron Ore Tippler decorated in BR Grey livery. This wagon will feature a high level of detail and running characteristics.

These models feature lots of era specific details and markings and lots of external body details as modelled on the prototype.
