Add distinctive Austrian freight traffic to your layout with this PIKO 2026 novelty covered goods wagon Gbs, decorated in the eye-catching “BahnExpress” livery of the Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) from Era IV. This model captures a unique period of rail freight branding, where logistics services were increasingly marketed for faster and more flexible goods transport across Europe.

Based on the widely used Gbs sliding-wall covered wagon, the prototype was designed for the efficient handling of palletised and general goods, with large sliding doors allowing rapid loading and unloading.
