Add authentic Central European freight character to your layout with this PIKO 2026 novelty covered goods wagon G02, representing a CSD (Czechoslovak State Railways) beer transport wagon fitted with a brakeman’s cab in Era III. This distinctive model depicts the classic post-war G02 boxcar adapted for brewery traffic, a common sight across Czechoslovakia’s rail network during the 1950s and 1960s.

The prototype was used for the transport of barrelled and bottled beer, often operating in local distribution services as well as mixed freight trains. The addition of the brakeman’s cab (Bremserhaus) reflects the operational requirements of the era, when manual braking duties were still common on freight wagons.
