Add authentic post-war Central European freight variety to your layout with this PIKO 2026 novelty 2-piece covered goods wagon set, representing Polskie Koleje Panstwowe (PKP) operations in Era III. This detailed set depicts classic wooden-style covered wagons widely used across Poland during the 1950s and 1960s for everyday goods transport.

The prototype wagons were an essential part of general freight services, used for carrying a wide range of cargo including packaged goods, agricultural products, and industrial materials, while protecting them from weather exposure. Their simple, robust construction made them a common sight on both local and international freight trains throughout the PKP network.

PIKO has faithfully recreated this set in HO scale with accurate Era III PKP lettering, finely moulded body detailing, and prototypical proportions, capturing the utilitarian appearance of mid-century freight stock. The two wagons provide variation suitable for realistic mixed goods trains and branch line operations.
