SBB EWI Historic Dining Coach V

The PIKO historic dining car EW I in red livery represents SBB’s classic vintage restaurant carriage from Era V–VI. This N-gauge model (1:160 scale) features a metal scissor pantograph, clear interior glazing offering a view into the passenger saloon, and is prepared for the retrofit of interior fittings to enhance realism.

This dining car model captures the charm of Switzerland’s historic SBB restaurant coaches—famously fitted with their own pantographs to power onboard kitchens when the locomotive was unavailable, such as during locomotive changeovers.
