Visually similar to the Galactic Empire's TIE/Ln fighter, the TIE/fo features a black fuselage with white hexagonal wings and is equipped with advanced technology, including deflector shields—an upgrade over its predecessors. The TIE/fo is armed with L-s9.6 laser cannons and powered by P-s6 ion engines. It is notably piloted by elite First Order pilots, such as those seen in The Force Awakens.
