?The Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor was a German four-engine monoplane developed by Focke-Wulf in the late 1930s. Initially designed as a long-range airliner, it became the first aircraft to fly nonstop from Berlin to New York in 1938. During World War II, the Fw 200 was adapted for military use as a maritime patrol bomber and transport aircraft. The C-5 and C-8 variants featured structural reinforcements, advanced radar systems like the FuG 200 Hohentwiel, and the capability to deploy Henschel Hs 293 guided missiles. Despite its successes in disrupting Allied shipping, the Fw 200's structural weaknesses limited its effectiveness later in the war
