History:

The BMW 507 is a two-seat grand touring roadster manufactured by BMW between 1956 and 1959. Designed by Albrecht Graf Goertz, it featured an all-aluminium body and was powered by a 3.168-litre V8 engine producing 150 hp, paired with a four-speed ZF manual gearbox. The 507 was capable of top speeds between roughly 190 and 220 km/h depending on rear-axle gearing. Only 252 (or 251) units were built, making it exceedingly rare at the time a commercial failure for BMW, yet now regarded as one of the most beautiful and collectible BMWs ever produced.
