US M109 A2 Model Set (1:72 Scale)

The M109A2 is a U.S.-developed 155mm self-propelled howitzer introduced in 1979 as an upgrade to the M109A1. It features a 39-caliber M185 cannon capable of firing standard high-explosive shells up to 18.1 km and rocket-assisted projectiles (RAP) up to 23.5 km. The M109A2 is powered by a 405 hp Detroit Diesel 8V71T engine, enabling a top speed of 35 mph and a range of approximately 216 miles. Crewed by six personnel, it served extensively during the Gulf War and remained in service with various NATO and allied forces until the early 2000s.
