Queen Elizabeth II Model Set (1:1200 Scale)
The Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) is a retired British ocean liner built for the Cunard Line. Launched in 1967 and entering service in 1969, she served as Cunard's flagship until 2004. Designed for transatlantic crossings between Southampton and New York, QE2 also undertook world cruises and later operated predominantly as a cruise ship. In 1986–87, she was refitted with a modern diesel-electric powerplant. QE2 was requisitioned as a troopship during the 1982 Falklands War. After nearly 40 years of service, she was retired in 2008 and has since been operating as a floating hotel in Dubai since April 2018.
