History:

The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Convertible is the drop-top version of the C8-generation mid-engine sports car. It carries a 6.2-litre LT2 V8 engine producing around 490–495 horsepower and 465–470 lb-ft (˜ 627–637 Nm) of torque, driving the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Thanks to its mid-engine layout, it achieves striking performance: 0–100 km/h in approximately 3.5 s and a top speed near 312 km/h (194 mph). The C8 Convertible features a fully electric retractable hardtop that folds in about 16–17 seconds and can operate at speeds up to ~50 km/h. It seats two, offers a 357-litre trunk, and retains mid-engine balance and rear-wheel drive dynamics, thus blending supercar-like performance with convertible practicality.
