The Eta-2 Actis-class Jedi Interceptor represented the pinnacle of Republic starfighter design during the Clone Wars. Built for exceptional speed and manoeuvrability, it was so responsive that only Jedi, using their Force-enhanced reflexes, could safely fly it to its full potential. Because of its compact size, the interceptor carried no internal hyperdrive and instead relied on an external hyperspace ring for long-distance travel.

Anakin Skywalker piloted his distinctive yellow Eta-2 during the opening stages of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, taking part in the daring rescue mission above Coruscant alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi.
