History:

The EC135 is a twin-engine light utility helicopter manufactured by Airbus Helicopters (formerly Eurocopter), introduced in 1996. Equipped with a four-bladed composite main rotor and a Fenestron shrouded tail rotor, it is one of the quietest helicopters of its class. Depending on configuration, it can carry up to seven passengers — or, in EMS/air-rescue layout, a pilot, medical crew and patients. Air-Glaciers uses a fleet of EC135s for mountain rescue and medevac missions in the Swiss Alps.
