History:

The Aston Martin Ulster was a lightweight two-seat sports car produced by Aston Martin between 1934 and 1936. It was named after the Ulster Tourist Trophy, where Aston-built cars had found success. The Ulster used a tuned 1,495cc inline-four engine delivering about 85bhp, mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Built on a shortened “Mark II” chassis with an aluminium, door-less two-seater body, it was light and agile company literature guaranteed every Ulster could exceed 100mph (161km/h). Thanks to its performance, relatively small production run, and racing heritage, the Ulster remains one of the most revered pre-war Aston Martins.
