History:

The Jaguar SS100 is a British two-seat sports roadster built by SS Cars Ltd (later Jaguar Cars) between 1936 and 1939. It was offered first with a 2.5-litre straight-six engine and from 1938 a 3.5-litre straight-six producing about 125bhp, giving it a top speed of around 100mph rare among affordable cars of its era. With its long hood, sweeping fenders and low-slung profile, the SS100 is considered one of the most beautiful pre-war sports cars. Production was limited, only about 314 originals were built, making original SS100s highly prized classics for collectors.
