DRG BR94.5-18 Steam Locomotive II (DCC-Sound)

The T 16.1 (later BR 94.5–18) was a freight train tank locomotive of the Royal Prussian State Railway. It was also purchased by the Alsace-Lorraine Imperial Railway. A total of 1,236 locomotives of this series were built, including the repeat order from the German Reichsbahn between 1913 and 1924. Due to their performance, the locomotives were not only found on branch lines and in shunting service, but could also replace the cost-intensive rack operation on steep sections in friction operation.
