The 2025 Safari Rally Kenya, part of the World Rally Championship, delivered one of the toughest endurance tests in modern rallying, with the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 proving its strength in extreme African conditions. Run by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the GR Yaris Rally1 tackled rough gravel, deep ruts, water crossings, and unpredictable weather across the demanding Kenyan stages around Naivasha.

The rally, famous for its mechanical attrition and survival-based challenge, rewarded consistency and reliability over outright speed. Elfyn Evans and Scott Martin secured victory in the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 after a controlled and resilient drive through the brutal terrain, helping Toyota continue its strong record in Kenya.

Teammates including Kalle Rovanperä, Takamoto Katsuta, and Sami Pajari also contributed strong stage performances, keeping Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 cars consistently at the front of the field throughout the event.
