Mercedes Benz 500 SEC (1:24 Scale)

The Mercedes-Benz 500E, produced from 1991 to 1994, is a high-performance version of the W124 E-Class, developed in collaboration with Porsche. It features a 5.0L M119 V8 engine delivering 322 hp, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car's widened bodywork, necessary to accommodate the larger engine and track, was hand-assembled by Porsche in Zuffenhausen, then sent to Mercedes-Benz's Sindelfingen plant for painting, before returning to Porsche for final assembly—a process taking 18 days per vehicle. Renamed E 500 in 1994, it offered understated styling with exceptional performance, earning a reputation as a "wolf in sheep's clothing."
