This detailed kit depicts the Israeli Defence Forces’ upgraded version of the Soviet T-55, modified extensively after captured vehicles were pressed into service following the 1967 Six-Day War.

The real Tiran 5 was based on captured T-55 tanks that were adapted to meet Israeli operational requirements.
