Details

The Trix 24431 Res-x Low-Sided Wagon Set is a highly detailed modern freight consist featuring two four-axle low-sided wagons of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) in Era VI operation (from 2018 onwards). These European-standard freight wagons are designed for heavy-duty transport and are presented in an authentic red-brown livery with highly realistic detailing.

Each wagon is faithfully modelled as a Res-x type flat wagon without stakes, equipped with prototypical Y25 bogies and finely applied underframe detailing. The set includes realistic rail load inserts, representing typical steel rail transport seen in modern German freight operations. Every wagon is individually packaged and designed for both visual accuracy and smooth running performance on contemporary model railway layouts.

Built to high Trix standards, the wagons feature numerous separately applied detail parts and a robust construction suitable for regular operation. With a total length of approximately 460 mm over buffers, this set is ideal for realistic freight formations, especially in mixed industrial or infrastructure-themed trains.
