Ideal for freight depots, industrial complexes, logistics centres, and road-to-rail transfer facilities, it brings realistic commercial vehicle traffic to both historic and modern-era layouts.

Part of the innovative CarMotion range, this model combines advanced infrared-controlled operation with smooth driving performance and realistic vehicle behaviour. The underfloor drive system preserves the model's scale appearance while allowing reliable operation on your layout. With configurable speed settings, realistic acceleration and braking characteristics, and compatibility with CarMotion trailers and semi-trailers, this Magirus Deutz tractor unit is perfect for creating realistic haulage and distribution scenes.

The model is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery providing approximately 4–6 hours of operation under normal running conditions and around 2 hours at maximum speed. Additional functions include cab lighting, brake lights, reversing lights, indicators, hazard warning lights, dipped and main beam headlights, and a 5-pole plug-in coupling for connecting compatible CarMotion trailers. The vehicle is compatible with magnetic tape guidance, contact wire systems, infrared control, permanent magnets, electromagnetic stop coils, and the CarMotion remote-control system. Convenient magnetic reed-switch operation allows easy switching on and off, while short-distance reversing is possible without mechanical guidance. An optional sound upgrade is available using sound module 8452.
