Designed for dual-service, the Pennsylvania often paired its FP7 (EFH-15) diesels with F7B (H-15) boosters. Geared for 77mph, these units were equally at home with fast freights such as Merchandise Service trains, and could pinch-hit in seasonal passenger and mail service whenever the need arose.
