The WIKING Magazine 2024 is the most comprehensive edition yet, celebrating 75 years of WIKING’s rich heritage in model vehicles. Now paired with the annual WIKING catalogue, this extensive printed compilation is delivered to the retail trade in February, providing an all-encompassing overview of the brand’s activities and innovations throughout the year. The catalogue will also remain available as a separate e-paper download.

Marking the 76th year of WIKING’s model vehicles, the 2024 magazine boasts a fresh new design that honours Germany’s longest-standing H0 model car brand. It highlights the courageous journey of founder Fritz Peltzer, who launched WIKING’s first model vehicles in 1948 during Germany’s currency reform—a time of new beginnings and restoration.

This special anniversary edition features the unveiling of several production models, including the sideloader, originally designed by master model maker Alfred Kedzierski, along with new tarps for the Hanomag Kurier and the VW T2. The magazine also shares the story of the Vidal tipper truck combination with the Büssing 8000 and its predecessors, alongside a detailed retrospective of the premium WIKING collectors’ convention held in Obertrubach.

The Model Chronology section pays tribute to the Ackermann furniture box, a true collector’s favourite renowned for capturing the unique spirit of WIKING models since the era of glazed designs.
