Willys Jeep CJ-3A Ivory Beige 1949-53
One of the earliest and most iconic models produced by WIKING, the Willys Jeep CJ-3A left an enduring impression on their model vehicle collection. Symbolising the Allied presence that shaped everyday life in the early 1950s, this American all-wheel drive vehicle quickly became a must-have for WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer.
First introduced in 1949, the CJ-3A featured a distinctive single-pane windscreen. The 1951 Farm Jeep, a slightly slimmer variant, inspired WIKING’s detailed miniature. By 1953, a remarkable 131,843 units of the CJ-3A had been produced. The military version, designated M38, boasted a 2.2-litre engine, measured 3.3 metres in length, and weighed just 823 kg.
