The IHC 1455 XL is WIKING’s first large modern classic tractor model at 1:32 scale, expertly crafted to celebrate one of the most iconic tractors in European farming history. Originally manufactured in Neuss, Germany, the IHC 1455 XL was the most powerful standard tractor produced by International Harvester, designed to meet the rising demand for higher horsepower in German agriculture during the 1980s. This model remained in production until 20 December 1996, making it the last tractor globally developed by International Harvester—surviving even the merger with Case by continuing production for an additional eleven years.

Fitted with the characteristic grille radiator and a commanding presence, the 1455 XL offers endless appeal for collectors and agricultural enthusiasts. Still found on working farms today, this beloved workhorse remains a symbol of durability and strength. The model is manufactured with a robust combination of die-cast metal and high-quality plastic. The bonnet, chassis, and front weight with trailer coupling are made from metal, providing a solid and realistic feel. True-to-scale details include a chromed “Brüllrohr” (roaring pipe) exhaust, air scoop, transparent front headlamps, and red rear tail lights. The cab, made of precision-moulded plastic, features opening doors on both sides, and even includes a rear number plate with a lighting system.
