Recent Highlights:

Class 74 Electro-Diesel Locomotive: 
In January 2025, EFE Rail announced the development of an OO Scale model of the Class 74 Electro-Diesel Locomotive. These locomotives, originally converted from Class 71 Electric Locomotives in the late 1960s, were known for their mixed-traffic capabilities on the Southern Region of British Railways. The forthcoming model boasts a highly detailed bodyshell with separate components like etched metal grilles and metal handrails. It features a coreless motor driving both bogies with electrical collection from every wheel and provisions for DCC (Digital Command Control) compatibility, including a 21-pin decoder socket and space for a speaker. Cab lighting and illuminated route blinds are also incorporated, enhancing the model's realism.  

O Scale Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 Tank Locomotives: 
In February 2025, EFE Rail introduced its first O Scale steam locomotive models — the Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0 Tank Engines. Originally developed by Ixion Model Railways, these models were acclaimed as 'Model of the Year' by readers of Model Rail Magazine and RMweb upon their initial release. The locomotives are characterised by their intricate detailing and robust construction, appealing to O Scale modellers seeking authentic representations of industrial steam engines.
