Dapol O Scale Releases: April to May 2026

Dapol’s O Gauge releases for April and May provide a varied mix of modern freight interest and classic railway detail items. Arriving in April is a selection of intermodal containers, including 20ft, 40ft and 45ft high-cube types in liveries such as Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, Cobelfret and Less CO₂, ideal for populating modern container trains or freight terminals. Alongside these are distinctive Conflat wagons with themed containers, including special editions for Book Law Publications, Browsers Bookshop and World Book Day 2026, each also offered in weathered form.

May’s releases shift the focus to traction and yard details with an extensive programme of Class 66 locomotives covering popular liveries including EWS, Freightliner Powerhaul, GBRf, DRS and GBRf/Biffa ‘Flying Dustman’. Each locomotive is offered in standard, DCC-fitted and DCC-sound versions, with additional deluxe sound options available on selected models. Completing the announcement is a large range of M3 and M4 shunters’ trucks in both GWR and BR liveries with a variety of depot and yard allocations, providing authentic lineside vehicles for steam and early diesel-era layouts.
