Dapol’s January announcements bring a warmly themed freight release for March, combining eye-catching liveries with a meaningful cause. Produced in partnership with Porthmadog’s Browsers Bookshop and Book Law Publications, both well known within the railway and modelling communities, this range supports the World Book Day® charity, which champions reading for fun and its life-changing benefits for young people.
The collection comprises three book-themed ventilated vans in OO gauge and three conflat-and-container sets in O gauge, covering Browsers Bookshop, Book Law Publications and a special World Book Day 2026 edition, each offered in both pristine and weathered finishes. With the logos of both partners appearing alongside the World Book Day charity mark, every wagon sold contributes directly to Dapol’s fundraising efforts, with a donation made for each model purchased—giving modellers the chance to add distinctive character to their goods trains while helping support an initiative that inspires the next generation of readers.
