Along with a few product updates, Hornby are delighted to share their highly anticipated Merchant Navy Class 'Channel Packet' that is due to arrive in the next month. Bringing with it a heavy die-cast chassis, pony truck and trailing truck, this DCC-ready model is pre-installed with a Merchant Navy sound profile for realistic sounds, and is pre-fitted with their innovative Steam Generator system offering a synchronised chuff rate and wheel speed, making for a standout addition to any model railway collection. Accompanying the Merchant are two of Hornby's newly tooled B4's; 'Normandy' and 'Shepway', alongside a selection of new rolling stock.
