Details

Recreate the modern era of rail freight with this Ratio 00 scale container crane kit. From the late 1960s, the spread of shipping containers transformed goods transport, replacing traditional marshalling yards with intermodal depots where containers are transferred between ships, trains, and road vehicles.

For added realism, the Rolling Underframe kit (Ref 546A) can be added to convert this unit into a movable crane. Supplied with pre-coloured parts for convenience, though painting and weathering (see Pecoscene Weathering Powder range PS-360–365) will enhance authenticity. Glue is required to complete the model.
