Dapol’s O Scale releases for May and June are headlined by an impressive new range of Class 66 locomotives, bringing one of Britain’s most recognisable modern freight workhorses to life in stunning detail. Covering a variety of eye-catching liveries, including EWS, Freightliner Powerhaul, GBRf and DRS, this line-up also features named examples such as 66 783 ‘The Flying Dustman’. With options available as standard, DCC-fitted and full DCC-sound, these models are set to be a standout addition for anyone modelling contemporary rail operations.
Supporting the headline releases is a wide mix of rolling stock spanning multiple eras. May sees the arrival of classic Salt Vans in Mortons and Cerebos liveries, a diverse selection of modern containers and Conflat wagons, along with an extensive range of M3 and M4 Shunters Trucks for added operational detail. Rounding things off are Stroudley 4-wheel suburban coaches in LSWR liveries, available in lit and DCC-fitted forms, offering plenty of scope for pre-grouping and heritage layouts.
