Minitrix Announcements: January 2026

Here we showcase a striking range of new Minitrix releases that blend railway heritage with eye-catching design, led by the famous “Kunst-Silberlinge” graffiti art coaches first created in 1996 for the German retailer Idee und Spiel and now faithfully reproduced in N scale alongside a matching Class 111 locomotive. Meticulously applied graphics bring these now 30-year-old artworks vividly back to life, while the programme is further strengthened by landmark steam additions including Class 44 No. 44 1315, released to mark 100 years of the class, and Class 41 No. 41 308, the first of its type to feature the new 2‘2 T30 short tender. Modern traction is equally well represented, from colourful Era VI tourist train liveries of the 1990s to the well-known “Hilde” electric locomotive with matching bi-level coaches, plus what is likely the final Class 101 advertising locomotive, finished in a commemorative design celebrating the Class 01 anniversary and now available in N scale.
