Two eye-catching new slot car liveries are set to hit the track—both officially licensed by Shelby and proudly bearing the iconic Shelby mark. Designed with collectors and enthusiasts in mind, these models blend classic inspiration with bold, expressive colour choices.

One version features a striking pink finish, inspired by the original “Playboy Pink” colour seen on early Mustang cars. Far from being delicate, this vivid tone makes a confident statement, celebrating the growing presence of women in the slot car racing world and their passion for speed.

In contrast, the light blue variant is a heartfelt tribute to the timeless Gulf racing palette. This colour scheme continues to stir emotion in motorsport fans and slot car racers alike. Its enduring appeal is sure to make this version a favourite among collectors.

While these models don’t represent specific race wins or historical cars, they’ve been created with care and character. Production is scheduled to begin this summer, and the manufacturer is currently seeking feedback. That said, they have told us the images you see here feature hand-applied decals to simulate the positioning, etc, however, the final details will be printed as standard.
